AMELIBRARIES is thrilled to announce our upcoming Essay Competition, inviting participants aged between 11 and 18 and 19 to 25 to engage with critical issues in three distinct categories: Environmental Sustainability, African Identity and Ideology, and Boy Child Rights. This competition aims to foster intellectual discourse and showcase insightful perspectives on these pressing topics. We invite you to contribute your voice and ideas to the dialogue.

Rules and Expectations:
- Participants aged between 11 and 18 and 19 to 25 may submit only one essay in any of the three categories.
- Essays must be original, unpublished works with a minimum of 700 words.
- Submissions should be written in English.
- Proper citation and references are required for any external sources used.
- Plagiarism will result in disqualification.
- Essays must be submitted as Microsoft Word documents or PDF files.
- The deadline for submission is March 15, 2024, 11:59 PM (UTC).
- Registration must be completed on the AMELIBRARIES website prior to essay submission.
- Upon registration, participants will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to submit their essays.
- Late submissions will not be accepted.
- All essays will undergo an AI check, and any essays identified as generated using AI will be disqualified.
Prizes:
- Best Essay: $100 USD
- Second Best Essay: $50 USD
- Third Best Essay: $25 USD
- Fourth Best Essay: $20 USD

- Schools from which the best student wins will receive a floating trophy in recognition of their support for academic excellence.
Submission Instructions:
- Register for the competition on the AMELIBRARIES website.
- After registration, wait for the confirmation email with submission instructions.
- Submit your essay via email to admin@amelibrary.org.
- Include your name, age group, category of submission, and contact information in the email.
- State the essay topic in the email subject line.
Rights and Publicity:
- By submitting your essay, you grant AMELIBRARIES exclusive rights to publish, distribute, and promote your work in any format and on any platform, including but not limited to the AMELIBRARIES website, social media channels, and promotional materials.
- Proper attribution will be given to the authors.
- Authors retain the copyright to their essays and may republish them after the competition, provided proper acknowledgment of the original publication in AMELIBRARIES is included.
- Any inquiries regarding the rights to the essays should be directed to AMELIBRARIES.
